Make sure the \
# rc-update add lvm boot
Make sure to enable lvmetad in ${EROOT}/etc/lvm/lvm.conf if you want
to enable lvm autoactivation and metadata caching.
Please enable USE=lvm if you need the LVM daemon and
tools like 'lvchange', 'vgchange', etc!

Found the following problematic permissions:

This is known to cause problems for udev-enabled LVM services.
